Established in 2014, MOD Energy is a consultancy firm based in Abu Dhabi with Middle East and international experience.

The firm works in the Energy sector and has strong competences in the Oil and Gas  upstream, midstream and downstream markets segments on a global, regional and local scale.

Whether for small or large scale projects, MOD Energy can support clients to overcome specific challenges and areas of work requiring talented expertise.

We count on a team of highly dedicated and diverse engineers and experts that allow MOD Energy to take complete project ownership from the early stage of conceptual till detail design, procurement, construction, commissioning, asset integrity management and aftermarket services.

Marilena Macrina

General Manager & Founder

Marilena is Managing Director and founder of MOD Energy from 2014. She has 25+ years experience in delivery of projects and process design. Before founding MOD Energy Marilena was for 4 years senior member of ADNOC department for Strategic studies and Business Development and spent 10 years of career working in TechnipFMC.

Paolo Luschi

Managing Partner

Paolo has 30+ years of experience in Operations and Delivery of Mega projects. During his career, Paolo had the role of Vice President Operation at TechnipFMC and before that was Project Director at ADNOC Sour Gas for the delivery of the SHAH Gas Project (10 Bil USD EPC)

Mansoor Al Mehairbi

Executive Advisor

Mansoor had 30+ years of experience with the National Oil Company ADNOC and is now dedicated to support MOD Energy growth. During his career, Mansoor had the role of Chief Executive Officer at ADNOC Sour Gas and Chief Projects Officer at ADNOC Refinery. His executive experience and ability to deliver mega projects are an asset to MOD Energy

Roberta Di Filippo

Technical Director

Roberta has 20+ years experience in various Oil & Gas Projects. Before joining MOD Energy, she worked for 15 years for TechnipFMC as process lead and manager
